Polar developments The four Tourist Standard Open (TSO) coaches that will be in use for our Polar Express Trains (5148, 5193, 5220 and 5222) have been shunted into the correct formation and moved into Spring Village station platform so that preparation for Polar can continue. On Saturday seven volunteers were on site to carry out deep cleaning of the coaches. Much was done, and we are grateful for their hard work. The team will be back off Sunday to continue this unglamorous but vital job. The reindeer have been given a thorough examination, and passed fit for use with Santa’s sleigh at the North Pole.
