You are called Telford Steam Railway, does this mean you will always have a steam locomotive running when I come to visit you? Not necessarily! Despite our name, we also run heritage diesels and multiple units as well as steam because we have lots of visitors and enthusiasts who want to travel with those as well. We hope to our narrow gauge steam tram running again in 2024, but we will also run with a narrow gauge diesel instead on certain dates.. If you specifically want to travel behind a steam locomotive, or one of our diesels, please check our loco roster page to see what we are due to be running on which day. This will help you to plan when to visit us. |
