Work continues on the guard's exterior double doors. No further work with the floor this week as we are obtaining prices for work and materials. The consensus is to go with the original floor design. An external door has been replaced. BR class 08 diesel 08757 "Eagle" More oil has been drained, and cleaning of the engine compartment has commenced. The oil pump continues to be fitted and wired in. We plan to continue this work along the whole of the line. Rail has continued to be brought up from the track bed between the Barrow Crossing and Doseley Halt. Around 30 lengths were moved this weekend. A sleeper 'pad' has been installed at the end of the line to enable our road/rail vehicles to get on and off the track easier.
