Ballast has been dug out from the platform road at Spring Village station in advance of some track maintenance taking place The cracked window in the Horsehay & Dawley waiting room has been replaced and more picket fencing has been installed. With the new drainage system being close to completion. The base of the old Horsehay & Dawley signalbox has been drained. It appears to still be in good condition. MK2 Tourist Standard Open (TSO) coaches The TSOs not required for the rest of the operating season have begun to have Christmas decorations put up inside, ready for the Polar Express trains. The remaining TSOs will start to be decorated once the running season ends. GWR 56XX 0-6-2T No. 5619 Hydraulic and steam tests have been booked for the end of this month. Tickets £10 Adults, £8 Children, £30 Family. Senior/concessions fares are not available and season tickets are not valid for this event. Tickets allow unlimited travel on our standard gauge trains, entry into our model railway exhibition and (if open) museum.
