We were delighted to welcome some families of behalf of PODs (Parents Opening Doors) who support families who have a child or young person with a disability or additional need. We invited them to come and take a look at the railway, and ride on the train to assist us in making the railway fully accessible for all. It was a very useful exercise, and we are very grateful for them taking the time to visit us. We hope to see them again soon. We currently have an appeal to buy a new boiler for our narrow gauge steam tram.
