(Our popular fleet of powerful diesel locomotives includes Class 08 Shunter Locomotives, Class 142 and Class 144 Pacer DMU's.
Each course will take two participants, who will each be able to drive between Spring Village and Lawley Village, and also have the opportunity to drive to and from Horsehay & Dawley Station. On your course, you could be hauling up to two coaches and Brake Van.
Each participant can be accompanied by up to two guests for free and can add extra guests for £15 each who may travel on the train during the course.
We expect the following locomotives to be used on the following dates (subject to availability).
Sat 28th April - 'Eagle'
Sat 8th June - Class 142 Pacer No. 142058
Sat 10th August - 'Eagle'
Please note that participants must be over 18 yrs
Your Driver Experience Day starts at 0900 at Spring Village and finishes there at approximately 1300.
*Telford Steam Railway reserve the right to change the locomotive/multiple unit prior to the experience taking place if said vehicle is unfit for use.
