Diesel Driver Experience Course
Our popular fleet of powerful diesel locomotives includes Class 08 Shunter Locomotives, Class 142 DMU's and other Locomotives
Each course will take two participants, who will each be able to drive between Spring Village and Lawley Village, and also have the opportunity to drive to and from Horsehay & Dawley Station. On your course, you could be hauling up to two coaches and Brake Van.
Each participant can be accompanied by up to two guests for free and can add extra guests for £15 each who may travel on the train during the course.
Please note that participants must be over 18 yrs
Your Driver Experience Day starts at 0900 at Spring Village and finishes there at approximately 1300.
- The course includes:Explanation of the day's events and safety briefing
- Lunch at the Furnaces Tearoom for participants and guests
- Free year's membership of the Telford Horsehay Steam Trust for the participant, including member's benefits (worth up to £25)
