Easter Eggstravaganza
Sunday 31st March - Monday 1st April 2024

Join us for a weekend of fun over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Steam trains will be hauling services on Sunday 31st March and Monday 1st April. An Easter Egg hunt will be taking place and prizes are to be won.

Alice's Adventures to Wonderland
Friday 5th April - Sunday 7th April 2024

Join Alice at Telford Steam Railway as she embarks on a journey down the rabbit hole for some incredible adventures on her way to Wonderland.
Meet some new friends and some not-so-friendly characters whilst you enjoy a magical interactive show before joining the Madhatter's tea party for some light ‘eat me, drink me’ refreshments.

​Ford Model T Gathering
Sunday 19th May 2024

A new event for 2024, a display of classic Ford Model T vehicles
The Ford Model T was produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1 October 1908 until 26 May 1927. 15 million were sold, and they remain a distinctive and much-loved vehicle
So, if you are a fan of the Model T or classic vehicles in general, this is the ideal time to see them close up at our Spring Village station, with a variety of types on display all lovingly restored by their owners.

Father's Day Flyer
Sunday 16th June 2024

Treat that special Dad, Granddad or man in your life to a Father’s Day Flyer experience. Comprising a footplate ride on a steam engine and complimentary all-day travel and meal for the recipient and up to 3 other people.

Classic Transport Day
Sunday 23rd June 2024

​Travel back in time to enjoy the sights and sounds of classic cars, buses, lorries, motorcycles, Land Rovers, and miniature and full-size traction engines. All will be on display at our Spring Village and Horsehay & Dawley stations.

Miniature Traction Engine Day
Sunday 7th July 2024

Another new event for 2024. A display of static and working miniature traction engines, based at Spring Village station. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of these fantastic machines which have all been lovingly restored and maintained by their owners.

Princesses & Pirates Day
Sunday 21st July 2024

Join us and meet some of your favourite princesses & pirates onboard our heritage trains!
There will be lots of opportunities for photos and face-painting will also be available (for an additional cost) at our Horsehay & Dawley station.
​They will also be performing a few songs for you to listen to... you definitely don't want to miss out!

Model Railway Exhibition
Sunday 28th July 2024

Our model railway exhibition returns at Horsehay Village Hall and across the railway for a second year. Expect to see lots of layouts, trade stands and tutorials. The permanent model railway exhibition will be open as usual, plus the Phoenix Miniature Railway and standard gauge trains will be in operation. Refreshments will be available at the hall and at the Furnaces Tearoom.

Ruston Rendezvous
Sunday 18th August 2024

A day for our Ruston diesels to take centre stage! Passenger trains will be hauled No 525947 ‘Rusty’ and No 313394 ‘Jammo’, with No. 382824 ‘Hector’ giving break van rides.

Vintage Weekend
Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th August 2024

Come and enjoy a 1940’s/vintage experience at Telford Steam Railway. With re-enactment groups, classic vehicles, vintage stalls, actors and actresses in period costumes, live singing and other attractions all ready to take you back in time.

Anything Goes Diesel Gala
Sunday 29th September 2024

One for the enthusiasts! Every available diesel will be in action on a frequent timetable with photo opportunities and the chance of some rare diesel haulage.

Peaky Blinders Themed Evening
Saturday 26th October 2024

Can you keep a secret ?….And who’s side will you be on ?
Immersive yourself us in an interactive show and meet The Shelby Brothers and Family ! Start you night off in the Eden club with a glass of Prosecco on arrival and a gift from Tommy Shelby !
Then climb aboard with drinks and enjoy the adventures unfold with Tommy Shelby and co ! Arriving back to enjoy more entertainment at the Eden club
Get dressed into your sharpest clothes, and don't forget your flat cap! Ladies get your dancing shoes and Charleston on as you join us on a tribute to the Peaky Blinders.
