'Alan Keef' Hudson Ballast Wagon
Acquired by the Telford Development Corporation in 1979 for constructing the original Telford Town Tramway in the town centre. This wagon originally would have been a Hudson skip wagon but was converted to have wooden sides for transporting ballast.
We believe the wagon was supplied by Alan Keef Ltd as the company logo is painted on the frames. It is currently awaiting restoration to return it to service. The wagon came to Telford with the rest of the tramway in 1986 Ownership : Telford Steam Railway |
